We’re redefining dog fitness by bringing the workout straight to your driveway. Inside our climate-controlled mobile gym, dogs run on self-propelled treadmills designed specifically for them. Whether it’s too hot, too cold, or pouring rain, your dog can safely get the exercise they need—all without you leaving home.
A dog treadmill, also called a slatmill, is completely powered by the dog—not a motor. Our mobile treadmill features interlocking slats attached to a free-spinning belt, creating a cushioned yet sturdy surface that allows dogs to walk or run safely at their own pace.
Each dog is securely harnessed for safety and encouraged with toys, clapping, and positive reinforcement. Because the treadmill is dog-powered, there’s no speed limit—allowing pups to build confidence and experience a safe, natural run at their comfort level.
Our sessions are tailored to each dog’s energy level and fitness goals, helping them stay healthy, happy, and mentally engaged. Most dogs benefit from weekly sessions, while more active dogs may do best with twice-weekly workouts to maintain consistency and burn energy. Regular treadmill exercise can help reduce reactivity or destructive behaviors, improve focus, and support long-term health and happiness.
Dogs need consistent exercise to stay healthy, happy, and well-behaved — but busy schedules, weather, or reactive behavior can make regular walks a challenge. That’s where we come in. At MuddyDOG Fitness, we’re more than a dog walking service — we bring a full treadmill workout right to your driveway, giving your dog a safe, fun, and effective way to burn energy.
At MuddyDOG Fitness, we make dog workouts simple, safe, and effective — all from the comfort of your driveway. Here’s how it works:
With MuddyDOG Fitness, your dog gets a structured, enjoyable, and effective exercise routine — no stress, no travel, just a fun way to stay healthy and energized.
Just like people, dogs need regular exercise to stay healthy, happy, and well-balanced. Skipping workouts can leave dogs restless, bored, or anxious — the same way we feel sluggish or irritable without our daily activity. Consistent exercise keeps their bodies strong, their minds engaged, and their behavior more manageable.
Regular treadmill sessions provide dogs with more than just physical activity—they help keep their bodies strong, minds sharp, and spirits happy. Consistent exercise in a safe, controlled environment supports both short-term wellness and long-term health.
MuddyDOG Fitness offers a structured, reliable way to give your dog the health benefits they need, even when walks or outdoor play aren’t ideal.
I have a reactive 9-year-old dog who can’t easily or calmly go on walks, so I started with MuddyDOG Fitness as a safe and effective way to keep him active. Since starting, the regular movement has really helped ease the stiffness in his joints as he gets older.
What’s kept me coming back is the convenience and peace of mind. The mobile gym comes right to my home, so there’s no stress of traveling or running into other animals or strangers. Plus, the van is climate-controlled, which is a huge relief during the hot summer months.
Having this consistent routine makes me feel better about my dog’s aging process—I know I’m doing something great for his health. For anyone considering it, especially if you have a dog with anxiety, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a total game changer.
I found MuddyDOG Fitness after looking for an alternative way to exercise my dogs who have very different walking styles (one is like an old man who enjoys slow walks and sniffing, the other is a high-energy cheerleader who just wants to run and chase everything). Devon took the time to learn how to motivate them both, and now this has become an exciting part of our Saturday routine.
For anyone hesitant to try it, I recommend giving your dog the opportunity. The change in behavior and energy has been astounding. The flexibility around holidays (like July 4th) is top tier. Devon has also worked with my senior dog who has osteoarthritis. 10/10—we’ll keep coming back.
Our dog Loki, a silver Labrador, put on a little weight during Covid (didn’t we all?). While trying to help him get back in shape and back into routine, I stumbled across MuddyDOG Fitness on Instagram. Devon has helped Loki lose the extra pounds and become the slim, trim-ISH Labrador he is today—one who actually looks forward to his walks again.
He even knows his workout schedule and now sits patiently by the door waiting for Devon. It’s one of the highlights of his week. We are so grateful for MuddyDOG Fitness!
